Energy crisis: Europe lost 2 trillion dollars.
Bloomberg news agency reported a loss of one trillion dollars in Europe due to the energy crisis and giving up Russian gas due to sanctions against this country.
According to this report, Bloomberg attributed this huge loss to the increase in electricity prices for European companies and consumers.
Bloomberg also predicted that this is only the beginning of the biggest energy crisis in recent decades in Europe, and after the winter season, their gas tanks will be empty and it will be difficult to fill the tanks due to the fact that they receive the least amount of Russian gas.
At the same time, Bloomberg added that the tense situation surrounding liquefied natural gas exports to Europe will continue at least until 2026, when Qatar and the United States can increase their gas production.
Bloomberg analysts said that if the price of gas in the European Union rises again and reaches 210 euros per megawatt hour, Europe will face a severe economic collapse instead of recession.
It should be noted that the Russian army started its “special military operation” in eastern Ukraine on February 24 (March 5, 1400); Senior Russian government officials say the operation was launched in response to a request from the heads of the autonomous republics of Donetsk and Luhansk to protect them from Ukrainian forces. According to Sputnik, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the purpose of this operation was “to support the people who were subjected to genocide and persecution by the Kiev regime for more than eight years.”
