Tunisian “Mosaique FM” radio reported that the polling stations started working in the morning and the selection process will continue until 6:00 pm local time for Tunisian citizens.
This radio also pointed out that “the Supreme Independent Electoral Council announced that 9.2 million Tunisians have the necessary conditions to participate in the elections; 50.8% of them are women and 49.2% are men.
Tunisians are going to the polls while the president of this country, “Qais Said”, is seeking to monopolize power and turn the parliament into a “council without power” from the summer of 2021 and after the approval of the country’s new constitution.
