The Negev Assembly consists of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the Maghreb, and Bahrain, and its first meeting was held last March in the occupied Negev region, with the presence of the foreign ministers of these countries, in addition to the Zionist regime, and this regime called the said meeting a “historic diplomatic meeting”.
According to this report, Jordanian officials have said that they are not ready to join the forum as long as the Palestinians are not present in the forum, but nevertheless, the members of the forum, especially the United States, are trying to convince Jordan to join it.
According to Al-Mayadeen network, one of the Arab diplomats also said that Jordan’s presence in this forum is important and shows that the forum does not want to ignore the Palestinian issue and Jordan’s presence guarantees that this issue will always remain on the agenda.
It is said that the next meeting of the working groups of this forum will be held in November in the UAE, and Morocco is preparing to host the second annual meeting of this forum in January at the ministerial level.
