The Saudi cabinet demanded; Yemen’s Ansarullah should be declared terrorist.
In its recent meeting, the Saudi Council of Ministers asked the international community to include Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement in the list of terrorist groups.
The Saudi Council of Ministers discussed Yemen in a part of its recent meeting in Jeddah’s Al-Salam Palace, which was chaired by Salman bin Abdulaziz.
According to “Al-Anba” report, the Saudi Council of Ministers asked the international community to include Yemen’s Ansarullah movement in the list of terrorist groups, sanction it and cut off its financial resources.
In the same meeting that was held on Tuesday (yesterday), the Saudi King reacted to various regional and international issues in statements (more details).
On the other hand, yesterday, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Yemen, Mohammad Al-Jaber, met with UN envoy Hans Grundberg, and the two sides discussed the ceasefire in Yemen and its benefits.
Hans Grundberg said last Thursday that he will continue his efforts to find a solution regarding the extension of the ceasefire in Yemen.
Also this week, Yasser Al-Houri, Secretary of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, explained the reason why the ceasefire has not been extended in this country and said: The stability of the Yemeni nation and their massive victories have defeated the plans and conspiracies of the enemies and today the equation It has changed, and in case of an attack on Yemen’s ports and airports, we will target the enemy’s ports and airports.
Al-Houri added: We are against the ceasefire for the sake of the ceasefire because we consider the ceasefire a tool to end the aggression and siege of Yemen and not a goal.
He added: The proposal presented by the UN envoy included general matters and no obligation was mentioned for the aggressors, so it was not accepted by Sana’a.
Al-Houri said: In this proposal, there was no real guarantee about its implementation or increasing the benefits of the ceasefire for the Yemeni nation. While all the clauses raised in the ceasefire and above all the payment of employees’ salaries from oil and gas revenues is the natural right of the nation.
He clarified that the dialogues will continue until any time, if these conditions are not met, no agreement will be signed and Sanaa has prepared various scenarios because the Supreme Political Council only seeks to secure and fulfill national interests.
