This Chinese official noted: “We do not see any benefit in rhetoric or actions that intensify geopolitical conflict or competition between great powers and are against the trend of the times and the wishes of the international community.” Such behaviors will not be welcomed and will lead nowhere.”
Ning added: “China has always been a force in the direction of world peace and has played a role in global development, is a defender of international order, and is considered a provider of public interests and a mediator in critical issues. This is a fact that the world community recognizes.
Pointing out that China is the largest developing country and America is the largest developed country, he said that both countries are responsible for maintaining global peace and stability and developing and promoting economic prosperity, and they benefit from cooperation and suffer from conflict.
The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked the United States to follow the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation and to fulfill the five election commitments of “Joe Biden” so that the relations between China and the United States return to the path of healthy and sustainable development.
