LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi announced the creation of 5 new administrative districts in the province and approved them.
Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi approved the formation of Taunsa Sharif, Murree, Wazirabad, Tallaght and Kot Addu districts on the instructions of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
In this regard, Chief Minister Pervez Elahi says that in the year 2018 Hafiz Amar Yasir announced the making of Tala Gang district, in 2005 the announcement of making Taunsa a district was made in the big meeting of MNA Khawaja Shiraz. Thanks be to Allah, that now I have given permission to make Taunsa and Tala Gang districts.
He further said that Murree, Wazirabad and Kot Addu have also been approved for making districts.
Meanwhile, the assembly members of Taunsa Sharif, Murree, Wazirabad, Tala Gang and Kot Addu have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister Punjab for the approval of the districts.
