America claimed to have killed two ISIS leaders in Syria.
Centcom claims that two leaders of the ISIS terrorist group were killed in an airstrike in northern Syria.
Despite the US’s secret support and aid to the ISIS terrorist group in Syria and Iraq, Washington announced counter-terrorist operations against the remnants of this group.
The terrorist organization “Central Command Headquarters” of the US Army known as “CENTCOM” in West Asia announced on Thursday evening that in this operation, an important hideout of ISIS terrorists in northern Syria was targeted by an airstrike.
According to “Al Jazeera” website, in Centcom’s statement claiming that two ISIS leaders were killed, it is stated: “The deputy head of ISIS and also the person in charge of the captives of this terrorist group, Abu Moaz al-Qahtani, were killed in this attack.”
This is the claim of the Americans despite the fact that not long ago, the international anti-ISIS coalition under the leadership of the United States, in an illegal act, built a new military base in the suburbs of al-Qamishli in northeastern Syria.
The importance of the new base lies in the fact that it is located near Al Qamishli Airport under the control of Russian forces and is considered the main base of the international coalition forces in northeastern Syria.
Therefore, according to the report, the construction of this base coincided with the transfer of military equipment and ammunition from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and another military equipment was sent to this region on Friday.
American soldiers are stationed in the north and east of Syria, and the two bases of Haql al-Omar and al-Tanf are among the largest bases of these soldiers.
However, it was about a month and a half ago that a security source in Daraa, located in the south of Syria, informed about the security operations of this country’s forces in the city of Tafas against the ISIS terrorist group.
