Islamabad: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been fined for the second time for seeking adjournment in the Rs 10 billion damages case against Khawaja Asif.
The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad heard the Rs 10 billion damages case filed by Imran Khan against Muslim League (N) leader Khawaja Asif. PTI Chairman Imran Khan was fined Rs 5,000 for the second time for seeking adjournment of the hearing.
Imran Khan’s lawyer requested the court that the main counsel is abroad and Imran Khan could not appear due to his participation in the meeting, so it should be adjourned.
The court accepted the request of Imran Khan’s lawyers to postpone the hearing with a fine of five thousand rupees and adjourned the hearing of the case till October 22.
