No words can express the shock we are going through. I have come here to tell the severity of the disasters caused by the climatic disasters, due to which one third of Pakistan is under water, 40 days and 40 nights of heavy floods have broken the climatic records of centuries, we have to deal with these disasters and this. There is awareness about coping, even today most of Pakistan is submerged in water.

People displaced by the floods are looking for a dry place to pitch their tents, condolences to the victims and their families. Those who have suffered losses, their employment has been taken away for a long time to come. According to preliminary estimates, 13,000 km of roads and more than 1 million houses were destroyed and another 1 million partially damaged, while 370 bridges were swept away. Due to the devastating floods, 10 lakh cattle were killed, 40 lakh hectares of crops were destroyed, the devastation is unimaginable.
He said that Pakistan has no examples of the dark and destructive effects of global warming, no words can express the shock we are suffering from. Life in Pakistan has changed forever, I visited every disaster area. The people of Pakistan ask why this disaster happened and what can and should be done, the undeniable fact is that what is happening is because of us. Our glaciers are melting fast, forests are burning and heat waves have exceeded 50 degrees and we are now experiencing an unusually deadly monsoon. Pakistan does not even have a percentage of the carbon that is being sent into the atmosphere in the world.
The prime minister said that the gap between the funds we have and the needs is widening, as much as possible we have dedicated our expenses to help the flood victims, my question is whether we will be left alone in this crisis, which we Not responsible, rescue and relief operation is going on in the flood affected areas. We are helping affected women through the Benazir Income Support Program, a program launched in the name of a former prime minister whose son is our foreign minister.
He said that extrajudicial killings are being carried out in Occupied Kashmir, attempts are being made to change the population ratio in Occupied Kashmir, so it will not be wrong to expect climate justice from the world, from all neighboring countries including India. They want peaceful relations, the solution of the Kashmir issue is necessary for stable peace in the region, the peace process has been affected by India’s illegal unilateral actions in Occupied Kashmir, New Delhi took the illegal actions of August 5 in Occupied Kashmir, India It must be understood that war is not an option.
The Prime Minister said that there is a need to divert attention from the issues of the 20th century and focus on the issues of the 21st century, otherwise there will be no land left to fight wars. Peace in South Asia depends on the solution of the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir issue, Indian brutality against Kashmiris has made Kashmir the largest military territory in the world, India is making illegal changes to convert Muslim-majority Kashmir into Hindu-majority.
He said that the Kashmir issue will not be resolved until voting rights are ensured according to the UN resolutions, we are neighbors and we have to decide whether to live with peace or war, war is not an option, only peaceful negotiations are the solution. They want peace with India, but this is not possible without the solution of the Kashmir issue. We want peaceful relations with all the neighboring countries including India. The resolution of the Kashmir issue is necessary for stable peace in the region. India’s illegal and unilateral actions in occupied Kashmir have affected the peace process. India should withdraw the illegal actions of August 5 in occupied Kashmir. Extrajudicial killing is being done in Occupied Kashmir, Pakistan is committed to peace in the region, India has to understand that both countries are nuclear powers and war is not an option.

We want long-term peace with India, long-term peace with India is possible only with a just solution to the Kashmir issue. There is a need to increase the powers of the Security Council by adding 11 more non-permanent members. Adding more permanent members to the Security Council will worsen the balance, not better.

As none of the neighboring countries are in a position to provide shelter to the refugees from these countries, Pakistan urges the international community to respond positively to the Secretary-General’s appeal of $4.2 billion for humanitarian and economic assistance to Afghanistan and the frozen Afghanistan. Restore assets. The international community is key to the threat posed by major terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan, particularly ISIL and the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), as well as Al-Qaeda, ETIM and IMU. Expresses concern, the international community must address Afghanistan’s dire humanitarian needs.

He said that Islamophobia is a global phenomenon. Since 9/11, suspicion and fear of Muslims and discrimination against them have become epidemic. But the sponsored campaign is the worst manifestation of Islamophobia.
Earlier this year, the Assembly adopted a landmark resolution introduced by Pakistan on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), marking March 15 as the International Day for Combating Islamophobia. , it is my sincere hope that this will lead to concrete actions by the United Nations and Member States to combat Islamophobia and promote interfaith harmony.
