The Taliban’s controversial education minister has changed.
The Taliban spokesperson announced that the leader of this group has appointed Maulvi Habibullah Agha as the new Minister of Education of the interim government instead of Maulvi Nurullah Munir.
The Taliban implemented new changes in the cabinet of the interim government of this group.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has announced that Maulvi Habibullah Agha, the former head of the Kandahar Provincial Ulema Council, has been appointed as the new Minister of Education of the interim government instead of Maulvi Noorullah Munir.
According to Mujahid, Nurullah Munir has been appointed as the head of the Central Dar al-Ifta General Directorate based on the order of Maulvi Hebatullah Akhundzadeh, the leader of the Taliban.
The spokesman of the Taliban said that Maulvi Mohammad Mohsen Hashemi has also been appointed as the new governor of Panhshir and the mullah of the governor of Logar.
The Minister of Education of the Taliban is changing while his different statements about the reopening of schools have caused controversy.
He has repeatedly stated that the reason for the continued closure of the reopening of girls’ schools is the culture of the Afghan people, which does not allow girls to go to schools.
The Taliban has been preventing girls from going to schools for more than a year, and although this decision has brought strong international reactions, the Taliban’s decision to close schools for girls still stands.
Referring to the previous period of the Taliban government, international observers have expressed deep concern about the status of women and girls in this country.
On the other hand, the continued closure of girls’ schools has faced widespread domestic and international reactions, and the international community has repeatedly demanded the reopening of girls’ schools.
Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, is also one of the politicians of this country who has repeatedly called for the reopening of girls’ schools in Afghanistan and has called this action in the interest of Afghanistan’s future.
In his last comment, in a message on the occasion of World Literacy Day, Karzai once again asked the Taliban to reopen girls’ schools in Afghanistan and provide education to all the people of this country.
