Dokur Darmi Belkhair al-Farooq, the inspector general of the armed forces and the commander of the southern region of this country, arrived in Tel Aviv today (Tuesday) with a delegation to participate in the so-called “operational plan” conference.
According to Dunya Al-Watan website, this is the first trip of a Maghreb military official to the occupied territory after the signing of the agreement to normalize relations between the Zionist regime and the Maghreb, which was ordered by the King of Maghreb, “Mohammed VI”.
The General Command of the Maghreb Armed Forces has stated in its statement that the purpose of the Maghreb delegation’s participation in this conference is to establish solid foundations for cooperation in the fields of multidimensional defense and military modernization.
Avikhai Adrei, the spokesman of the Zionist army, announced the holding of this conference on Saturday and said that the topic of this conference is about “operational plans” and representatives from the armies of different countries will discuss and exchange opinions about “future threats”. This conference will last one week.
According to Adraei, representatives from Germany, England, America, Canada, France, India and Australia, as well as a representative from Morocco, as the only Arab country present in this conference, will be present in the occupied territory.
Discussions between the Inspector General of the Maghreb Armed Forces and the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Zionist Army are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of this conference.
Belkhair’s visit to occupied Palestine comes at the same time that two months ago, “Aviv Kokhafi” visited Maghreb, during which the security and military cooperation between the two sides was reviewed.
Since the resumption of relations between the Maghreb and the Zionist regime in late 2020, the relations between the two sides have expanded and in the past months, meetings and consultations have been held between the authorities of the Maghreb and the Zionist regime, and several virtual, economic, sports and educational cooperation agreements have been signed between the two sides. has been signed.
