Items recovered from Trump’s home were more than 11,000 documents and photos.
New documents show that the FBI discovered 11,000 photos and documents in the raid on Donald Trump’s mansion a few weeks ago.
Recently released court documents show that the FBI discovered more than 11,000 government documents and photos during its search of Donald Trump’s residence in Florida a few weeks ago.
According to the Reuters news agency, District Court Judge Ellen Kanon has agreed to release these documents. The documents provide more details about the 33 boxes discovered at Trump’s mansion.
New documents show that documents labeled confidential were sometimes mixed with other items such as books, magazines and newspaper clippings.
Reuters news agency says that the media’s calculations show that out of 11,000 government documents and photos, 18 were labeled “top secret”, 54 were labeled “secret” and 31 were labeled “confidential”.
“Top Secret” is the highest level of classification and is used for the most sensitive government documents. There were also 90 empty folders, 48 of which were labeled “classified,” Reuters wrote.
It is not clear why these folders are empty and whether some documents may be missing or not.
A few weeks ago, after entering Trump’s mansion and conducting a several-hour search, federal investigators seized thousands of classified documents that he brought with him when he left the White House.
In response to this attack, Trump said in a statement: “Such an attack can only happen in bankrupt and third world countries. “Unfortunately, America has now become one of those countries that has become corrupt on a level never seen before.”
The New York Times then reported that at least one of the former president’s lawyers had signed a statement in June that all classified documents at the Trump mansion had been returned to the government.
