Content of the meeting between the senior leaders of Islamic Jihad and Hamas in Beirut.
In a meeting, the senior leaders of Islamic Jihad and Hamas emphasized on some issues, including joint work for the liberation of the Palestinian land and Islamic holy sites, and appreciated the support of Iran and Hezbollah.
A delegation from the Hamas movement, including “Saleh al-Arouri”, the deputy head of the office of this movement, “Khalil al-Hiya” and “Zaher Jabarin”, members of the political office of Hamas, met with “Ziyad al-Nakhleh”, the secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in Beirut.
According to “Sama” report, in this meeting, they discussed the developments in the region, the Palestine issue, the Zionist regime’s efforts to eradicate the resistance in the Palestinian land, and the battle of “Wahda al-Sahat” (the recent three-day war).
The people present in this meeting saluted the souls of the Palestinian martyrs and emphasized the following points:
First; Quds is the eternal capital of Palestine and will remain the center of battle and the enemy will not succeed in Judaizing or dividing Al-Aqsa Mosque. The battle of Quds continues and its cleansing from the enemy will not stop.
Second; Emphasizing the depth of the relationship between Hamas and Islamic Jihad as a fraternal, ideological and resistance relationship, in addition to continuing the joint work for the liberation of the Palestinian land and Islamic sanctities.
Third; Everyone is assured that the relationship between the two movements is strong and strategic and is growing in line with serving the resistance project in Palestine. Any tactical difference here and there does not harm the principle of this relationship.
fourth; The Palestinian people are called to unite their ranks and strengthen their strength and resistance, and actions in this field are supported.
fifth; The measures taken regarding the prisoners are supported and the Palestinian people are called to declare solidarity with them.
sixth; The joint national work in the direction of true unity, which is manifested in the necessity of speeding up the formation of the new National Council based on new principles, will continue.
the seventh; We appreciate all the supporters of the Palestinian resistance, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah.
