Arab countries’ negative response to Tel Aviv; The celebration of the two-year anniversary of the “Abraham” agreement was canceled.
Following the negative response of the Arab countries to the invitation of the Zionist regime to attend the celebration of the two-year anniversary of the “Abraham” agreement, this regime had to cancel the ceremony.
The Zionist regime planned to hold a celebration on the occasion of the second anniversary of the so-called “Abraham” agreements on the 12th of next September and to advertise on it, and on this occasion, it had invited the representatives of various Arab countries to attend this celebration.
However, after most representatives of the Arab countries responded negatively to this invitation and announced that their presence in the aforementioned celebration may be interpreted as interference in the Knesset (Parliament of the Zionist regime) election campaigns, the Zionist regime was forced to cancel the aforementioned celebration.
Esavi Farij, Minister of Regional Cooperation of the Zionist regime, while announcing this news, said that Tel Aviv understands the concerns of the Arab countries that their participation in the said celebration may be considered as interference in the elections, so the Israeli regime decided to cancel this celebration.
The coalition cabinet of the Zionist regime has been making preparations for holding this ceremony for several months and has made contacts with countries that have started to normalize relations.
“Al-Sharq Al-Awsat” newspaper, in a report about this, discussed the agenda of the said event and wrote that the following items were supposed to be addressed:
* Opening a land trade route through Occupied Palestine or from Occupied Palestine to Arab countries along the Persian Gulf
* Advancing regional projects to solve the infrastructure problems of the Gaza Strip with the participation of Egypt, the Zionist regime and the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.
* Discussing the energy, food and water crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
* The opening of the Maghreb embassy in occupied Palestine with the presence of Nasser Bouritah, the Moroccan foreign minister, and the expansion of agreements with other Arab and Islamic countries.
