Kabul: APS attack mastermind Umar Khalid Khorasani was killed in a bomb blast.
APS attack mastermind Omar Khalid Khorasani was killed in a bomb blast in Paktika province of Afghanistan. Mufti Hasan and Hafiz Daulat, two associates of Umar Khalid, were also killed in the blast.
Umar Khalid Khorasani was considered one of the main commanders of TTP. Umar Khalid Khorasani also participated in the peace talks with Pakistan in Kabul in recent days. Taliban leader Ehsanullah Ehsan confirmed the death of Umar Khalid Khorasani.
The United States had announced a reward of three million dollars for information about Omar Khalid Khorasani, dead or alive.
