At the beginning of this dialogue, Ghassan bin Jado presented an introduction about Hezbollah and the actions of this movement in the past 40 years and emphasized that this dialogue will take place in five axes: resistance and deterrence, Lebanon, Hezbollah and Palestine, Iran and Syria, Hezbollah Allah, the region and the world, the future of Hezbollah.
In this conversation, which took place on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Hezbollah, Nasrallah emphasized: The deterrence of Hezbollah began in 1985; At that time, the Zionist enemy was forced to withdraw from the areas it had occupied very quickly.
Stating that the enemy used the border strip as a security belt to prevent resistance forces from entering Palestine, he clarified: The deterrence at that time was the achievement of all resistance groups that carried out martyrdom operations, not just Hezbollah. The second stage of deterrence started with the actions of Hezbollah in the villages of Khat Moghadam until 1993.
Any action against Lebanon will be answered
Pointing out that the deterrence began after the Zionist enemy realized that it was unable to enter Lebanon, the Hezbollah Secretary General continued: The enemy considered it dangerous to confront the resistance after the 33-day war. The enemy of Israel knows that any action against Lebanon will be answered. At that time, we needed to prevent the bombardment of Lebanese areas by the Zionists.
Stating that from 1993 to 1996, a high level of deterrence was formed, he said: The April 1996 understanding is the foundation of the [great] victory of 2000, that is why the bombing of cities was opposed to the bombing of [the enemy’s] cities after the 2006 war. He realized that the confrontation with the resistance is dangerous and great and the strength of the resistance has exceeded the limit of the conflict on the border. The enemy knows very well that any action against Lebanon will be retaliated against… Therefore, whatever he does, he tries not to leave his fingerprints and does not dare to act against Lebanon. .
