A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces said that the Saudi coalition had bombed more than 260,000 times in the past six years and more than a thousand times since the beginning of this year.
On the eve of the sixth anniversary of the start of the Yemeni war, Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, gave statistics on the number of attacks by the Saudi aggression coalition and the resistance of the Yemeni forces. According to the Al-Masira website, he initially said that Saudi fighter jets had bombed Yemen more than 260,000 times in the past six years, but did not include hundreds of airstrikes between 2015 and 2016. Also, since the beginning of this year, Saudi fighter jets have been attacked thousands of times in different parts of Yemen.
Yahya Sari added that the attacks killed and injured tens of thousands of people, as well as the destruction of many villages, houses, towns, and road networks, mosques, public and private facilities.
A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces then said that the Yemeni army and popular committees have also conducted 12,366 military operations over the past six years; Of these, 6,192 were offensive operations, of which 167 were in the past two months.
Yemeni forces also carried out 6,174 defensive operations, blocking the advance of Saudi coalition militias.
