Islamabad: Due to the changing political situation in the country, the resignations of Tehreek-e-Insaf members of the National Assembly could not be accepted so far.
According to media reports, Pakistan Muslim League-N demanded immediate approval of the resignations of 8 members of PTI, including former Prime Minister Imran Khan, but former President Asif Ali Zardari has stopped Raja Pervaiz Ashraf from accepting their resignations.
In this regard, government sources say that the government is not accepting resignations to open the door for negotiations, but they will take a decision in this regard on the occasion of the next meeting of the National Assembly. The national sources of the assembly have said that the PTI members did not come to confirm the resignations, so they are still members of the assembly. Raja Pervez Ashraf has not yet signed.
On the other hand, an offer of 50 crores was claimed to the members of the Provincial Assembly for the Chief Ministership of Punjab province, while talking to the media, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and former provincial minister Murad Ras has claimed that again for the Chief Ministership of Punjab.
