The agreement between the United States and the UAE to strengthen security and military cooperation.
During the meeting in Saudi Arabia, the leaders of the United States and the UAE emphasized their commitment to deepening the intensive military and security cooperation.
The governments of the United States and the United Arab Emirates have expressed their desire to deepen intensive security cooperation, which they claim will lead to greater security and regional peace and stability.
This agreement was made during the meeting and talks between US President Joe Biden and UAE President Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Jeddah and during the regional summit.
According to the WAM news agency, Washington and Abu Dhabi reaffirmed their commitment to deepening intensive security cooperation and committed to close cooperation over several decades in a joint mission to fight terrorism and extremism.
In addition, the heads of the United Arab Emirates and the United States also “underlined their commitment to continue using the inclusive diplomatic status to reduce tensions and end conflicts in other parts of the Middle East region besides Yemen.”
According to this report, Biden recalled that the UAE is the only country in West Asia that has deployed its armed forces along with the US military in all international security alliances since Operation Desert Storm in 1990-1991.
The US president emphasized his country’s commitment to protecting the UAE from terrorist attacks and other hostile acts, including attacks on civilian targets.
The head of the UAE, in turn, emphasized that “the United States is the main partner of the UAE in the field of security”.
Earlier, Bin Zayed called the security of his country a fundamental principle and said that he will never compromise on the security and sovereignty of the UAE.
