China: Interference in the affairs of world countries is the usual practice of American governments.
The spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in response to a former American official’s admission of meddling in the countries of the world, that overthrowing governments is the usual practice of the American government.
In the weekly meeting with reporters, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry reacted to the words of former American official John Bolton regarding the role of American governments in the formation of coups in other countries.
According to the “Website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China”, “Wang Wenbing”, one of the spokespersons of this ministry, said: “This is not surprising. This admission simply shows that interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and overthrowing their governments has become the usual practice of the US government. This is very much part of the principles and rules of the United States. “Such laws will be rejected by people all over the world.”
John Bolton, the former national security adviser of the United States, confirmed on Wednesday that during the presidency of Donald Trump, he helped to attempt coups in many countries around the world.
In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Bolton said that Trump is not competent enough to carry out a “carefully planned coup”.
Bolton went on to add: “As someone who helped plan a coup – not here as you know in other places – that would take a lot of work and that’s not something he (Trump) did.” »
Tapper then asked Bolton about the specifics of the coups, and Bolton said, “I’m not going to get into details,” before pointing to Venezuela. It turned out not to be successful. “Not that we did much in this direction, but we saw what it took for an opposition to try to overthrow an illegally elected president, and they failed.”
According to statistics, America has directly or indirectly participated in more than 50 coups in different countries in 100 years. Coups in Iran, South Korea, Philippines, Pakistan, Venezuela, etc. are among them.
