Cairo demanded an explanation from Tel Aviv about the mass grave of Egyptian soldiers.
In a phone call with the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, the President of Egypt demanded to clarify the news about the mass grave of Egyptian soldiers in “Al-Latrun” area.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid spoke on the phone on Sunday night.
According to the “Sama” report, among the issues raised in this call was the news about the mass grave of Egyptian soldiers who participated in the 1967 war in an area in the occupied lands, and al-Sisi demanded to clarify this issue.
Lapid also announced that he ordered his military secretary, Avi Jill, to investigate this matter completely and inform the Egyptian authorities about it.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry announced yesterday that Cairo has demanded an explanation from Tel Aviv about this news.
Ahmed Hafez, the spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv has been assigned to communicate with the Israeli authorities to clarify the truth of this story and inform the Egyptian authorities immediately.
Recently, the Zionist newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” wrote in a revelation that the Zionist regime buried the bodies of 70 Egyptian commandos who went as a support force to help Jordan in the 1967 war in a place that is now a car park.
According to this report, this place is located in the city park known as “Mini Israel” in the “Al-Latrun” area, an area that the Zionist regime occupied in the aforementioned war and displaced the residents of its three famous villages, “Amwas, Yalo and Majdal”. .
Yediot quoted an Israeli soldier who participated in the 1967 war as “Zeiv Bloch” and wrote that the bodies of 70 Egyptian soldiers and possibly dozens of other soldiers were buried in this place and no one knew about it. Bloch was in the said area at that time and has kept this secret for 55 years.
He added that the bodies that were brought and buried in the well were soldiers who were burned alive. The area was covered with thorns and tall grass, one meter or one and a half meters high, and it caught fire quickly.
In the continuation of this report, the Israeli army hid the secret of this mass grave well for 55 years. Bloch and others like him also cooperated with the army authorities and did not reveal this secret.
