Zionist militants shot dead a Palestinian teenager in the West Bank.
This morning (Saturday), the martyrdom of a Palestinian teenager who was shot by Zionist soldiers in the city of “Salwad” in Ramallah was announced.
According to the Maa news agency, Abdullah Mohammad Hamad, who was severely wounded, was arrested by the Zionists and later martyred.
Recently, another Palestinian, Ahmad Salim Ghanem, was shot dead by Zionist militants in Nablus, West Bank.
Palestinian media also reported last Friday that three Palestinians had been shot dead by Zionist militants in “Jenin” in the north of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that the number of martyrs was three, adding that eight others had been shot in the fetus by Zionist militants.
Also, the annual report of the “National Assembly for the Martyrs of Palestine” (National Association of Families of Palestinian Martyrs) shows that 357 Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli soldiers last year.
“Mohammad Sabihat,” the secretary general of the association, says that based on field research and surveys conducted in different provinces, all of these martyrs were martyred from the beginning of 2021 until the last day of this year.
According to the Arab 48 website, 19 percent of these martyrs are Palestinian women, an unprecedented figure since the occupation of Palestine in 1948.
The report notes that 22 percent of the martyrs are children, and that the international community’s silence on the Zionist regime’s crimes has encouraged the regime to commit more crimes against the children of the Palestinian people.
