US website: North Korea is conducting a nuclear test soon.
An American analytical website claims that new satellite imagery shows North Korea preparing for a new nuclear test.
Beyond Parallel has released a new report in which it says new satellite imagery is likely to indicate that North Korea is conducting a new nuclear test at the Pungi-Ray laboratory site, and that the test is likely at any point in time. Will be done.
According to NBC, Parallel Bayand is a North Korean-focused project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
The report claims that the analysis of the images on Sunday, June 12 (June 22) shows the work in progress in one area of the tunnel called Tunnel No. 3 and the new construction in another area called Tunnel No. 4.
Reconstruction and preparation for Tunnel No. 3, which began about four months ago, seems to be complete and “ready for the seventh much-anticipated nuclear test,” the report said.
The report also found that new construction activity in Tunnel 4 strongly suggests “trying to reactivate it for possible future experiments.”
“The timing of the seventh nuclear test is now solely up to Kim Jong Un,” the report said.
Earlier this week, South Korean Foreign Minister Jane Park said North Korea appeared ready for the test. “It seems that the preparations for the nuclear test have been completed, so now there is only one political decision left,” he said.
US officials also believe that North Korea may be planning an underground nuclear test this month.
The new construction activity in Tunnel No. 4 is from the last parallel report on May 17, 2022, which, according to the authors, shows that this work has been done recently.
The report claims that the images show a new wall under construction and building materials near the entrance to the portal.
