ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the United Nations should take * notice * of Islamophobia and hate speech in India, adding that silence of Indian leadership is tantamount to their support in this incident.
According to Foreign Office spokesman, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari briefed UN General Assembly President Abdullah Shahid on the issue of blasphemy by senior BJP leaders.
The Foreign Minister said that billions of Muslims around the world have been deliberately hurt through provocation, Islamophobia and hate speech in India should be taken note of. Should lead to an increase in violence and hate incidents.
