“How could I know that Putin was going to take action against Ukraine,” Imran Khan said. The meeting with the Russian President was about bilateral relations. “We do not believe in military action. We do not support an attack on Ukraine,” Moscow said in a statement.
Chairman PTI further said that Kashmir is a contentious issue between Pakistan and India. India is violating all UN resolutions in Kashmir and depriving Kashmiris of their rights. One lakh people have been killed in Kashmir but no one has condemned India because it is an ally. Let us also be neutral so that we can work for the good of our people.
Imran Khan further said that there has never been a military solution to the problem of Afghanistan. When we said that bombing the Taliban would not solve the problem then we were called pro-Taliban. The Afghan people have been suffering for more than 40 years. This is not a football match in which you support any one team. The country that suffered the most due to the situation in Afghanistan is Pakistan.
