LAHORE: Yasin Malik’s wife Mashaal Malik has said that the Indian court will approach the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against the sentencing of Yasin Malik.
Mashal Malik said in his statement that the sentence passed by the Indian court on Yasin Malik is a murder of justice and unacceptable. We will not accept defeat. Yassin Malik’s sentence will be appealed to the International Court of Justice. This decision is unilateral and is not acceptable to the Kashmiri people.
Mashaal Malik further said that Indian authorities used their influence in the court to silence the most powerful and peaceful voice of Kashmir. Yassin Malik’s life is in danger. Dozens of Kashmiri leaders have already been tortured to death or sentenced to death.
