US lawmaker: Al Jazeera reporter killed with American money.
A member of the US House of Representatives said that the martyrdom of a Palestinian journalist by the Zionists was made possible by sending American taxes to the Zionist regime.
Alexandria Occasio Kurtz, a member of the US House of Representatives, said on Friday that the martyrdom of Palestinian journalist Shirin Abu Aqla had been made possible by sending American tax money to the Zionist regime.
“I think it’s really important to focus on what happened to Shirin Abu Aqla in Palestine,” the US lawmaker said in a video message, according to the Jerusalem Post. A professional journalist and a US citizen have been killed by Israeli forces. “We must not allow such suffering to be caused by our [financial] resources.”
“Our dollar tax is part of that,” Cortez said. We in the United States can not afford medical expenses, and at the same time we provide funding for such actions (Zionist crimes). “Some kind of red line must be drawn here.”
“They (the Zionist regime) destroyed an entire media building last year,” the Latin American official noted. “Such a thing could not have happened without our consent.”
Occasio Cortez refers to last year’s war in Gaza, in which the Associated Press and Al Jazeera buildings were targeted and completely destroyed by Israeli fighters. The Zionists claimed that the Palestinian resistance group Hamas was active in the building.
He said in the video message that if anyone said “Palestinians are human beings and have human rights”, they would be accused of being anti-Semitic and such discussions would be banned.
“Talking about the fundamental rights of some people is too politically controversial,” he said. “But such statements do not mean that you do not believe that the Israeli people should be safe, but should not you believe that the Palestinian people should also be safe?”
Last Wednesday, Israeli forces attacked Al-Jazeera Palestinian journalist Al-Jazeera from a distance of 100 to 150 meters in an attack on the Jenin area in the northwest West, and Ali Al-Samudi, the network’s producer, was killed Injured.
