The PML-N government has decided to give a special relief package to the people of Punjab in a few days. For the relief package, a proposal to set up more than one thousand fair price shops across Punjab is being considered.
The Punjab Chief Minister directed to finalize the relief package. According to media reports, a high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz in which the features of special package for providing relief to the people were reviewed.
Members of Punjab Assembly Abdul Aleem Khan, Sardar Owais Leghari, Nadeem Kamran, Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal, Bilal Yasin, Ramzan Siddique Bhatti, Zeeshan Rafique, ticket holder Hafiz Muhammad Noman, PML-N leader Ata Tarar, Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police and Relevant authorities attended.
In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has said that by giving cheap flour, ghee and sugar we will give real relief to the common man. Inflation has made the life of common man miserable. I will try to solve the problem of inflation for the convenience of the common man, the officers will have to take practical steps to end grand selling, I will visit the districts and check the prices of food items myself, this relief package Allah It is a small attempt to please God’s creatures.
In addition, the government has announced not to increase the prices of petroleum products in the country. Finance Minister Muftah Ismail has said that the increase in the prices of oil and other commodities will be a burden on the people. I am not. I am going to meet the IMF again. We will find a middle ground. The Finance Minister said that Shaukat Tareen had promised to end the subsidy from the IMF but we will not increase the price of petrol but will give relief to the people and resolve the issues with the IMF amicably.
