US Senator: Our government is the biggest liar in the world.
A US senator has said that the US government is the biggest perpetrator of lies in the history of the world and has no right to tell its people what the truth is.
Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Wednesday that the lying government of the United States has no right to tell its people what is “true” and is itself the biggest perpetrator of misrepresentation.
According to the Rasha Today website, US Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Majorcas told a US Senate hearing in defense of the formation of a “lying board” that social media has been greatly helped in filtering out “fake news”.
Reacting to the US Secretary of State’s remarks, Rand Paul said: “The problem is, we do not even agree on what the definition of lying is. “You can not even agree that the Russians have entered their information into a ‘steel file.’
The Kentucky senator is referring to a controversial report by a former British spy named Christopher Steele, who claimed that former US President Donald Trump had won the election with the help of Russia. This claim even led to Trump’s first impeachment, but not enough evidence was found.
“Do you know who is the biggest publisher of lies in the history of the whole world?” Rand Paul continued. U.S. government!”
The US senator went on to point out a number of lies in the US government, saying that the US government had lied to the people for years about the dimensions of the Vietnam War.
Rand Paul also referred to “George W. Bush’s weapon of mass destruction” as an excuse for the US invasion and occupation of Iraq for two decades.
“Do you think the American people are so stupid that you have to tell them what is true?”
Late last month, the US government announced the formation of a false management board to combat the dissemination of false information in the country and has claimed that it will not target American citizens in this project.
