The Zionists prevented the broadcast of the call to prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque
Palestinian news sources said that the Zionist regime prevented the broadcast of the Isha call to prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday.
The Zionist regime continues its aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian worshipers present there.
The Palestinian news agency Shahab reported that the Zionist regime prevented the broadcast of the Isha call to prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, during the holy month of Ramadan last year, the Zionists did not allow the Isha call to prayer to be broadcast on Al-Aqsa Mosque on the first day of this month.
The move angered the Palestinian people and groups. In a way, the Hamas movement condemned this issue and emphasized that such issues are racist aggression against the holy places.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassim said that blocking the call to prayer was a violation of freedom of worship, stressing that the Zionists were ignoring the feelings of Muslims.
Meanwhile, the battalions of the martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam, the military wing of Hamas, took responsibility for the martyrdom operation last Monday morning in the Zionist town of Ariel in the West Bank.
The Palestinian group stressed that the operation was a response to the Zionist regime’s brutal and cruel aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and worshipers, and that the Zionist regime did not consider the consequences.
Al-Qassam Brigades stated that they are proud of this operation of their Mujahideen; Mujahideen who are fighting alongside other Palestinian resistance forces throughout the occupied territories. The statement stressed that the operation would not be the last of its kind.
Reacting to the news, Tariq Izz al-Din, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad movement in the West Bank, said: “The acceptance of responsibility for Operation Ariel by Katayeb al-Qassam is proof that the martyrdom operations in the West Bank are continuing in earnest.”
