Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif telephoned Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and congratulated him on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister wished Eid-ul-Fitr along with good wishes and prayers for King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the trustee of the Holy Shrines and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia on April 28-30, 2022, thanked the Saudi leadership and the government for the warm welcome and generous hospitality.
Recalling his talks with the Saudi Crown Prince during the visit, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen the historic fraternal ties with Saudi Arabia and further enhance the strategic relationship between the two countries in all fields. ۔
The Prime Minister also reiterated his firm commitment to implement the decisions taken during his recent meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince.
Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman also warmly responded to the Eid greetings from the Prime Minister of Pakistan and expressed his congratulations and best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
The Saudi Crown Prince reiterated his willingness to work together to further and diversify bilateral cooperation and reiterated his commitment to implementing the MoU reached during Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia.
According to the statement, the two leaders reiterated their desire to work together to further deepen and broaden bilateral ties for the mutual benefit of the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on April 28 on his first foreign trip after assuming the office of Prime Minister.
During the three-day foreign visit, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz also met to discuss Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations, economy, investment, strengthening trade and issues of mutual interest were discussed.
