The issue of “Quds” from the point of view of a Russian expert; Differentiation of the Islamic world is the scourge of Palestine.
According to a Russian political scientist, the dream of the liberation of Jerusalem will not be realized unless there is Islamic unity in the Islamic world.
In an interview with a Fars News Agency correspondent in Bishkek, the head of the Russian Federation’s National Strategy Institute, Solomon F.
Fars: The problem of occupying Quds has been going on for more than half a century, how do you see its current situation and what future awaits it?
Suleimanov: The issue of Jerusalem began in 1967 after the six-day Israeli war, in which not only East Jerusalem was occupied, but also a part that was considered in 1947 by the United Nations to establish an Arab state in Palestine.
At the same time, after the Oslo talks in 1993-1995, although Israel recognized the right of the Palestinians to have their country on the borders of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, it still occupies territories.
Fars: Why is the oppression of the Palestinians and their right to participate in Al-Aqsa ignored by the international community? Why are the Arab countries indifferent to this issue?
Suleimanov: The Palestinian problem lost its importance with the beginning of the Middle East revolutions in 2010-2011 and was overshadowed by the refugee problem. In other words, the second case is many times more important for the Western countries than the problem of the Palestinian refugees.
Given the events in the Middle East in the second decade of the 21st century, issues related to the fall of authoritarian regimes in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, the ISIS terrorist organization, the war in Syria, the Palestinian problem are not only in the background, but even in the third program. .
Meanwhile, in 2020-2021, Israel was officially recognized by four Arab countries, including Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan.
Fars: Why do the media and the international community not react to the wars in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Palestine as they do to the conflicts in Russia and Ukraine?
