PTI Vice Chairman and Shah Mehmood Qureshi reiterated that the statement of the National Security Committee chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif supported his position and reiterated his demand for the Supreme Court to investigate the letter through a Judicial Commission.
Talking to media in Lahore, former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while responding to the announcement of National Security Committee meeting said that our position has been strengthened and it has been proved that the post was correct, political interference has taken place.
He said that the question is how to investigate it, there was nothing new in today’s meeting, the Supreme Court should form a Judicial Commission and that Judicial Commission should confirm in an open hearing what the facts are. ۔
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that looking at this declaration, I am compelled to say that there was nothing new in it.
He said that I would like to respectfully ask the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif why the need for this meeting was felt, what was gained from this meeting, from this meeting you have created more problems for yourself.
Addressing the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, he said that take note of the press conference held by the Home Minister, such an important issue has been under discussion and is on the minds of the entire nation at the moment but he started his speech at the press conference. Controlling the list (ECL) and discussing the new recommendations approved by the Cabinet for a full 10 to 12 minutes.
He said that the issue was related to the meeting of National Security Committee but he was discussing the proposals of ECL, saying that foolproof security had been provided to Imran Khan.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the only solution is to form a Judicial Commission headed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court or at his discretion and that the Judicial Commission should investigate the matter through open hearing and get to the bottom of the facts. Whether it was a conspiracy or not, whether it was political interference or not.
He said that now the nation is interested in it, for this commission we have sent that letter in the service of the Supreme Court, Speaker Asad Qaiser has sent the sealed letter which he has, he can also read it and They can set up commissions without taking notice, this is their prerogative.
“We are saying that if you want to make the nation aware, the PTI wants to ask a few questions. If these questions are considered, then milk will become water,” he said.
He asked whether it was not a fact that the document was not a routine post based on the details of the regular meeting of the Pakistani envoy with the foreign envoy.
He asked whether it was not a fact that the vote of no-confidence in the meeting was not linked to the condition of pardoning Pakistan especially the removal of Imran Khan’s government.
The former foreign minister asked if there was no threat that if Imran Khan’s government survived, it would lead to loneliness and consequences.
He asked whether the National Security Committee had not declared it in Pakistan’s affairs and decided not to demarcate it immediately.
He said that if the Prime Minister of the present government approved the minutes of this meeting then our position became stronger than before.
He asked whether the Security Committee had said that the material was sufficient to bring it under discussion in the Security Committee of the National Assembly.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that an inquiry would be held to formulate the results of the said points and in this document the connection between the actors and the threat given in this document should be investigated.
He said that the diplomat of a particular country would need to identify the pattern of data of meetings between the opposition and PTI defectors in the last few months, such data is on record and whether such meetings Data is also available abroad.
He said that the inquiry body would draw conclusions after investigating the questions raised by various members of the security committee.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that today’s committee had ratified the minutes of the previous committee and if the meeting was held on the basis of their observation in the previous committee, then the position and demand of PTI has become stronger than before. And it is stronger than ever.
