The Governor Punjab issued an explanation regarding the swearing in of the new Chief Minister. According to details, a statement issued by the spokesperson of Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema said that the Governor Punjab has not taken any decision to take oath from the new Chief Minister.
Any decision in this regard will be taken after the report of the Secretary Assembly. Besides, the Governor Punjab will take a decision after consultation with the constitutional experts for which the Governor Punjab has called a meeting again today for consultation with the constitutional experts.
Earlier, it was reported that the swearing in ceremony of newly elected Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz will be held tonight. At 8 o’clock, Hamza Shahbaz will take oath of office. On the other hand, PTI has announced to challenge the election of Punjab Chief Minister in the court. Al-Hassan Chauhan said that Hamza Shahbaz had established a tradition of bullying in the Punjab Assembly. In the history of Punjab, the police had never entered the Assembly Hall.
