ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to decide the foreign funding case within 30 days.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani issued a safe judgment while the court also rejected the PTI’s request to exclude Akbar S. Babar from the proceedings of the foreign funding case and stop him from providing records.
Islamabad High Court upholds ECP decision The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged the ECP’s decision to reject the petitions filed on January 25 and January 31. The foreign funding case has been pending in the Election Commission since November 2014.
