Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister Asad Umar said that the results of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local body elections show that the people of Pakistan stand with their courageous leader and now the future of Pakistan will be decided by the people of Pakistan.
Asad Umar said that Pakistan is one of the few countries in the world where there is a large number of youth so our first priority is to provide employment to them.
“You will recall that we said we would provide employment to 10 million people within five years, which was ridiculed by us, but it had two priorities,” he said.
“For the last 30 years, our economy has been sinking into a quagmire. Our external deficit is so high that as the economy accelerates, the dollar starts depreciating and we have to break it again and again,” he said.
Asad Omar said that unless the pace of economic growth accelerates, there will not be more employment opportunities. He said that we have focused our policies where there is an increase in exports and employment. The result is that we have never seen such progress in agriculture in the last two years.
He said that the farmers also benefited in this phase. The PML-N government had increased the price of wheat for farmers by only Rs 100 per quintal while the PTI government had increased it by Rs 900 per quintal.
He said that there were such policies that Pakistan’s largest industry i.e. textile missionary was being sold at the price of Surrey. ۔
He said that the combined growth of PML-N and PPP government in 10 years did not increase exports as much as it did in one year. This was possible only because such sector was given priority. Where development is possible.
Congratulating the nation on overcoming the Corona epidemic, he said that in the last two years, when the world’s major economies were suffering due to Corona, Pakistan has added 32,000 jobs.
He said that there has not been a year since 2007 in which Pakistan’s GDP has increased by more than 5%. This year we are seeing an increase of more than 5% in GDP.
“I am sure that even if there is no increase of one crore jobs, at least we will get closer to it,” he said.
Asad Umar said that the main source of selling economy in urban areas is the construction industry, for the development of which the Prime Minister has been at the forefront. Changes to the rules that led to increased employment.

In response to a question, Asad Omar said that in the first three months after the evolution of the corona virus, massive layoffs began, after which the Prime Minister decided to develop the economy without closing down the business. He said that the population of Pakistan is growing at a rate of 2.3%, ie in 3 years the population of the country has increased by 7% while the employment rate has increased by 9.6%.
