Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that reservations were expressed by a big country on the visit to Russia. Pakistan had received a message from a big country not to visit Russia. He made the revelation while talking to media before leaving for China. According to Jang newspaper, the Foreign Minister further said that the message came from the big country from which we explained that the nature of the visit to Russia was bilateral relations.
He said that it was the responsibility of the people to bring someone to power or bring them down. He said that no other country could make that decision. He added that Pakistan wanted good relations with all countries but could play any role regarding Yemen. So the Saudi alliance will support. When the government came, there was an attempt to make the foreign policy dignified and free.
It may be recalled that at the special invitation of Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi left for China to attend the 3rd Summit of Afghanistan’s Neighboring Countries. During his three-day visit, the Foreign Minister will attend the Third Summit of Afghanistan’s Neighboring Countries and the Trika Plus Summit. The Foreign Minister will brief the participants on Pakistan’s position on joint efforts for peace in the region, including Afghanistan.
During the visit, the Foreign Minister will hold bilateral meetings with State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. In addition, meetings are expected with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian. During these meetings, important regional and global issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and the promotion of bilateral cooperation in multilateral fields, will be discussed. It is hoped that the visit of the Foreign Minister will be very useful for the promotion of China, Pakistan’s economic priority agenda and regional ties.
