Moroccan foreign minister claims: Israelis have Moroccan blood.
The Moroccan foreign minister claimed at the Negev meeting that there were bloody relations between the Zionists and the Moroccans.
“The Israelis are of Moroccan descent,” said Nasser Burita, the Moroccan foreign minister, during a meeting with the Negev in the Occupied Territories.
“The Israeli claim that there is at least one Moroccan in each family is true,” the Moroccan foreign minister was quoted as saying by Arab 21 news website. “If you say that maybe in every Israeli family there is the blood of a Moroccan, I would say that is true.”
“Israel and Palestine will live together and East Jerusalem will be the capital of the Palestinians,” Burita said at a two-day meeting in the Negev, emphasizing Morocco’s support for the two-state solution.
“The two-state solution will protect the security and interests of Tel Aviv,” Burita said in a statement, while the Arab foreign ministers attending the Niqab meeting said their purpose was to protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Moroccan foreign minister’s controversial remarks came as the National Working Group on Support for Palestine (NPC) held a meeting in the Maghreb, calling the positions of the UAE, Egyptian, Bahraini and Moroccan foreign ministers a scandal and calling for Burita to resign.
“The meeting of the officials who normalize relations with the Zionist regime without ending the occupation is delusional and a free service to Israel,” said Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammed Ashtia yesterday, condemning the meeting of the foreign ministers of the four Arab states with Tel Aviv.
