The government delegation came to the residence of Chaudhry brothers on Monday for a meeting where they were received by the Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi. The government delegation included federal ministers Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Pervez Khattak. Minister Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, Monis Elahi, Salik Hussain, Hussain Elahi and Kamil Ali Agha were present.
The meeting between the two coalition parties discussed in detail the no-confidence motion and the current political situation in the country. In the meeting with the PTI delegation, there was no discussion on Punjab Chief Minister.
On the other hand, the PML-Q spokesperson denied the media reports that the government had offered the post of Punjab Chief Minister to the coalition party during the meeting.
He said that in the meeting of the PML-Q delegation with the ruling party, there was no discussion on the Chief Ministership of Punjab.
After the meeting, when the journalists asked the leaders of both the parties if they were running the channel that the PML-Q had been offered the chief ministership, Shah Mehmood Qureshi replied that the job of the channel was to run the news. Mr. Chaudhry, we have everything.
In response to a question, Monis Elahi replied that if we have good relations with him individually and collectively, then an announcement will be made very soon.
Asked about the grievances raised by the allies against the government, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Omar said that grievances are raised with those from whom there is hope, there is a relationship. The relationship continues today.
