The Armed Forces put on a spectacular parade at the main Pakistan Day celebrations in the federal capital Islamabad, with participants from the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in attendance.
Pakistan Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm with the determination to ensure development, prosperity and strong defense of the country. The day started with salute of 31 cannons in the federal capital Islamabad and 21 cannons in the provincial capitals.
President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Nadeem Raza, Chiefs of Armed Forces and OIC Foreign Ministers The participants of the council attended. On the occasion of the special parade on the occasion of Renewal of Allegiance Day, the contingent of the three Armed Forces saluted the special guests while conducting a special parade. Earlier, Chief of the Pakistan Air Force Zaheer Ahmad Babar flew F-16s and saluted the President along with two J10s.
