Addressing the Armed Forces Parade at the Parade Ground in Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that we are a responsible nuclear power and we want peace with all countries. The answer will be, we have made enormous sacrifices to protect freedom.
Addressing the parade on March 23, the President said that while paying tribute to the leaders and workers of Tehreek-e-Pakistan today, he vowed to cherish the independence and sovereignty of the country forever. He said that the objective of Pakistan was to establish a modern Islamic welfare state, a state which would present a practical model of a moderate and tolerant society based on Islamic principles, a state where even minorities would be protected with life and property and There should be religious freedom, equality, rule of law and justice.
He said that they renew the pledge that the founders of Pakistan would work together for the attainment of a modern Islamic welfare democratic state in accordance with their aspirations. He said that the Islamic world is facing great trials, people are being oppressed in Palestine and Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the growing wave of Islamophobia in the world has endangered the Muslims, our millions of Afghans. The brothers are suffering from hunger and disease and are in a state of uncertainty.
The President said that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Pakistan have made every effort to curb Islamophobia at the international level. Alvi said the resolution reiterated that Islamophobia, blasphemy and blasphemy and hate speech against Muslims is a major challenge to the world.
