The US Navy says four troops were killed during a NATO exercise in the North Pole.
US media have reported that at least four American soldiers were killed when a Spray MV-22 crashed during a NATO exercise in the Arctic region of Norway.
According to the Associated Press, the four American soldiers were US Marines from the 261st Squadron and the 26th Marine Corps Air Force Base in North Carolina.
A statement issued by the US Navy on Sunday evening said; The bodies of the victims have been exhumed and are being prepared for transfer to the United States.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but Norwegian officials say it may have been due to bad weather.
