A Kremlin spokesman described the US president’s recent rhetoric against his Russian counterpart as unacceptable and unforgivable.
The accusation and insult of US President Joe Biden against his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin met with a sharp reaction from the Kremlin.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday morning that Biden’s rhetoric was “unacceptable” and “unforgivable.”
According to the RIA Novosti website, Peskov said in a statement: “We consider such rhetoric of the [US] head of state, whose bombings have killed hundreds of thousands of people around the world, unacceptable and unforgivable.”
Earlier, during a ceremony, Biden initially answered a reporter’s question about whether he was ready to call Putin a war criminal, but moments later asked the reporter to repeat his question, saying, “I think he is a war criminal.”
