LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed in detail the political situation in the country and the no-confidence motion.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the first and most important step on the political front is Islamabad, the government is confident and stable on the political front, the political situation in Punjab will be decided after detailed consultation. Apart from this, administrative matters of the province and progress on ongoing development projects were also discussed during the meeting.
Earlier, an important meeting of the senior leadership of the party was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which the legal team including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Farrukh Habib, Asad Umar, Hamad Azhar, Shafqat Mehmood also participated. The meeting deliberated on dealing with the no-confidence motion. Senior leaders made suggestions for dealing with the current situation and reviewed the legal aspects of the no-confidence motion.
The meeting discussed in detail the meetings with the allies and expressed satisfaction over the assurances given by the allies. Senior leaders said that they will thwart the opposition movement, many members of the opposition will support us, we have completed our homework, let the opposition be happy for a few days, we will give a surprise.
PM Imran Khan has said that he is not afraid of the high-handed tactics of the opposition, he has prepared such a plan, he does not understand, what will I do against this mafia in the past, after the failure of mistrust, everyone will be held accountable. I will do it, we will overcome the situation in Punjab, all the members will support me, no worries, the next strategy was decided in the meeting.
