Ukraine incident; Why is the Israeli regime trying to play a role of a mediator?
Several days after the Ukraine crisis, the Zionist regime announced its first official position. In this position, the Israeli cabinet announced that it wants an end to the conflict in Ukraine and is ready to help end the crisis as a mediator, in this regard, the Israeli Prime Minister increased the sending of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The news says that in a telephone conversation between Naftali Bennett and Putin on Sunday, the Zionist regime’s position on mediation was raised, but Putin’s reaction to this Zionist regime’s position was negative and he rejected the Zionist mediation.
The rejection of the Zionists on the chest of the Ukrainian government
The Israeli mediation stance comes as Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian-Jewish and pro-Western Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelinsky, requested that he send weapons, according to Israeli media reports. The Zionist regime had given a negative answer, but now it is trying to implement the humanitarian aid that Bennett made a few days ago conditional on its “necessity”.
Why did the Zionists choose the position of “mediation”?
According to field and political data, the Zionist regime, as a strategic ally of the United States, is in the position of an ally of the West. Why do the Zionists, by taking an almost neutral position, now present themselves as mediators?
Trying to redefine a role for yourself
One of the reasons for the Zionists’ position of “mediation” in the Ukraine crisis is the position they have chosen for themselves in the post-Syrian period. At a time when the United States is planning to leave the region, the Zionists are seeking to establish themselves as the leading player in the West Asian region. Their move in the direction of normalizing relations with Arab countries is done with the same approach. They are seeking to form a regional coalition against the Axis of Resistance under the command of this coalition, and now the Ukraine crisis in this approach is the best opportunity for them to define a role for themselves that will play a greater role in the region. Mediation in the Ukraine crisis, with Russia on one side and the West and the United States on the other, is a bigger bite than the Zionists have avoided.
