On Thursday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a special operation in the Denbas region in response to a request for military assistance from leaders of the separatist region of eastern Ukraine. Subsequently, Russian military fighter jets, artillery, and missile systems targeted various military positions from east to west and north to south of Ukraine.
