The head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council announced the launch of a mass mobilization campaign to support the country’s army forces and popular committees against the coalition of aggressors.
The Yemeni Ansarullah movement announced the launch of a mass mobilization campaign at various levels called “Isar Al-Yaman” (Yemeni Storm) to confront the Saudi-Emirati coalition.
Yemen’s Saba news agency reported Wednesday that Mehdi al-Mashat, chairman of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, met with Yahya al-Rai, speaker of parliament, Ahmed al-Mutawakil, chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Abdul Aziz bin Habtour, prime minister.
During the meeting, Al-Mashat announced the launch of a mobilization and preparedness campaign called “Yemen Storm” to deal with the aggressors.
The head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council stressed the importance of popular resistance at this stage, saying that government institutions should also play their effective role in mobilizing and preparing forces.
He ordered the launch of this scan at all levels and said: This scan covers all levels, including the official, the people and the elite.
He called on the Yemeni people to mobilize and be ready to support the army and the people’s committees in the fight against the brutal aggression.
The Yemeni armed forces also called their recent retaliatory operations deep inside the UAE territory the Al-Yaman era. However, the link between the scan and military operations is not yet clear.
