Sanaa forces smashed a Saudi camp on the Saudi border after the Saudi Defense Ministry announced the deployment of new troops for operations in the two northern provinces of Yemen.
Saudi media and social media users reported heavy clashes around a Saudi brigade camp on Yemen’s northern border with Saudi Arabia.
According to the Al-Khobar Al-Yemeni news website, the fierce clashes took place around the 18th Brigade in the town of Al-Khuba in Jazan province in southwestern Saudi Arabia. Published images show that the explosions shook the camp.
The clashes took place a day before Saudi troops and equipment entered the camp; The number of victims and the fate of this camp are still unknown.
Al-Khobar Al-Yamni added that the attack on the camp coincided with the announcement of the start of the Saudi coalition operation towards Harz in Hajjah province, which indicates plans to move the battle to the depths of Saudi Arabia.
The report goes on to say that the city of Al-Khuba is near the city of Al-Malahit in Saada, which indicates a preemptive attack.
Sending two Saudi brigades to Yemen
In an important development for the first time in seven years, the Saudi Defense Ministry sent two military brigades deep into Yemeni territory in a major military operation to “liberate” the provinces of Saada and the Saudis, the Saudi Defense Ministry said in a statement yesterday (Saturday). “The 11th Armored Brigade of the Saudi Ministry of Defense, along with the forces of the Fifth Military District, took part in the operation in Haradh,” Ma’rib Press reported, citing its sources.

It has intensified in different parts of Yemen, especially Saada and Sanaa.
