Centcom Commander: Iran is the main threat in the Middle East.
The leader of Centcom terrorists considered Iran as the main threat to the United States in the West Asian region and claimed that Centcom’s mission was to prevent Iranian operations from harming them.
Kenneth Frank McKenzie, the head of the US Central Command terrorist organization known as Centcom, reiterated baseless and fabricated allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“Iran is the main threat to Centcom in the Middle East and our focus,” McKenzie said in a speech to the Middle East think tank on Thursday evening. “The United States and Iran are still in a state of constant deterrence, and Tehran is trying to force the United States to act.”
“We have a mission to prevent Iran from carrying out any vicious operations that undermine security and stability in the Middle East,” he said, claiming that pro-Iranian militant groups in Iraq were getting out of control.
“Iran’s support for the Houthis is the main reason for the prolongation of the war in Yemen,” said the leader of Centcom terrorists, referring to the Saudi-Emirati coalition’s brutal attacks on the country’s defenseless people. “The Houthis are recklessly using Iranian weapons.”
Earlier in the day, Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell, a Republican leader in the U.S. Senate, acknowledged that the United States had lost its “deterrent” against Iran and called on its rival party politicians to increase pressure on Tehran. (More details)
The Senate Republican leader went on to say that Iran’s strategy is to drive the United States out of the Middle East, saying that after the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Iran will redouble its efforts to achieve this goal.
Following the US terrorist attack on the martyrdom of Generals Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes in January 2017, movements demanding the US withdrawal from the region have intensified. A few days after the terrorist attack, the Iraqi parliament passed a resolution to expel US troops from the country, but due to pressure from Washington, the resolution has not been implemented yet.
