The Punjab Education Minister has said that schools in Punjab are not being closed at present. According to Geo News, he said in his statement that schools will be closed in Punjab keeping in view the rate of corona cases.
Considering the rate of positive cases, the decision will be taken to close the school. The data reveals the relationship between vaccination level and infection rate. The district administration, together with provincial and health department officials, will determine the closure of educational institutions.
The NCOC has directed that corona testing be conducted in educational institutions of cities affected by Omi Crone in the next two weeks. Vaccination of students above 12 years of age will be ensured 100%.
